Deep Breathing with Hindu Squats

One critical technique with hindu squats is deep rhythmic breathing. I find that if I don’t control my breathing I tend to blow out quickly even though my legs feel like they could do a few more reps.

I know that breathing exercises can increase my lung capacity, allowing for deeper and smoother breathing. This style of breathing increases oxygen utilization and efficiency at the cellular level. As my cells have more available oxygen, in effect energizing them, this in turn energizes my whole system.

Doing the rhythmic breathing with hindu squats seems to help the whole body perform the technique. In a way it’s almost like a meditation. I really feel like I can get into a zone and just feel the rhythm of the movement.

Also, after a tough hindu squats workout I feel exhausted, but not drained. Does that make sense?

I’m sure you understand if you have tried it yourself.
